BIZDEX 2011 begins in May
A two-day Business Development Workshop & Exhibition (BIZDEX 2011) aimed at attracting and exploring business opportunities within the West Africa sub-region is scheduled to take place in Accra from May 31 to June 1, 2011.
The Workshop, which has been sanctioned by the Dean of Diplomatic Corps, Hassan Ali Toure, who is also the present Niger Ambassador to Ghana is to be held under the theme: “Expand your business in West Africa: A strategic approach.”
It is expected to draw several business entities and executives to the Accra International Conference Centre, the event grounds, to chart a way of increasing the volume of trade in the sub-region, which is home to more than 300 million people with untapped business potential.
A varied and wide selection of companies from big corporate organisations to micro businesses, are expected to attend. They include SMEs, Consultants, trade associations, chamber of commerce, entrepreneurs, business owners and executives, as well as business development managers. Participants to the programme are expected from all 15 countries in West Africa. They will be tutored and mentored on how to effectively do business in the sub-region by renowned local and international speakers with diverse expertise in business.
BIZDEX 2011 would therefore provide the platform to expose small-and-medium scale entrepreneurs to business opportunities in West Africa, market know-how, financing options, credit facilities, networking events and the skills required for sustaining and expanding their businesses across the borders of their respective countries. The event is organised by Adweb Ghana Limited, ZK Ghana, and Sandia.
